Light & Motion Announces New SunRay 600 LED compact video light system
July 20th 2009, Monterey, CA— Light & Motion is pleased to announce the shipping release of a new 600 Lumen compact video light which retails complete with two light heads, arms, battery pods, charger, and batteries, and travel case for $1899.
“With more than 1.5 times the output of a 35 watt halogen light, 100 minutes of run time on high, in a smaller package, this new LED package makes it easy to add lights to any system.” says Paul Barnett, sales manager.
SunRay 600 LED
The Sunray 600 LED has 3 power settings; 600, 300, and 150 lumens. Burn time doubles with each drop in output. With 100 minutes at full power, this light can easily support up to 4 dives before needing to be charged. The total system weight with two lightheads, battery pods, and arms is a mere 4.25 lbs/set. The built in wireless receiver on the pods allows any Light and Motion handle to adjust the light output easily at your fingertips. The system is also easily adapted to housings from other manufactures using its manual external switch.
The 6 high power LED array is paired with a custom machined reflector to create a remarkably even, clean, 70 degree beam, ideal for video.
The solid state design is pressure tested and sealed before shipping and has a rated service life of 20,000 hours, so you will never need to service the heads. Built in software monitors thermal performance to insure the LEDS are always protected, and unlike many competitors’ lights, the current is regulated to insure there is absolutely no fading of output over the duration of a charge.
