June 15th 2009, Monterey, CA— Light & Motion is pleased to announce the shipping release June 19th of a the new Bluefin “C” housing ($3799) for the new Canon HF S10 with full access to all functions including manual white balance from wireless fingertip control handles.
“This Canon S-10 in our Bluefin housing is my new favorite system. It has easy access to manual focus, exposure, and white balance never before offered in a compact dive housing” says Paul Barnett, Sales Manger for Light & Motion.
The new Bluefin “C” model.
This new housing has remarkable controls that are easier to access and use than on any housing on the market. The Canon S-10 is an exciting camcorder with a large sensor that takes great video even in low light. This is the first time Light and Motion has ventured beyond the Sony line of camcorders, but this new Canon S10 is a very nice system. It is currently on an extended test dive in Bonaire where our test shooter reports: “I'm totally digging the S10 system. The control set is cool, much easier than the touch screen on the previous Bluefin and competitor’s systems and the new built-in monitor on the Bluefin housing is one of the best I have used.”
